For those who value transparency, wish to shop with greater awareness, or are simply curious about how AI fits into my creative business, this page outlines how AI is used within Fables Den and where my creative boundaries lie.

A disclosure on this disclosure: This article is written with the assistance of AI to help ensure that all relevant areas of AI use within my business are thoughtfully considered, clearly communicated, and properly disclosed.

Fables Den is an AI assisted-business - not an AI-generated one.

Since first incorporating AI tools into my business around 2024, AI may support administrative, organizational, and logistical aspects of my business, such as SEO, bookkeeping, policy drafting, and content organization. My use of AI is primarily conversational and on an as-needed basis. I don't use AI to autonomously run or automate my business. Think of it more like having an interactive research assistant, sounding board, editor and problem-solving buddy that I consult when I need one.

However, the creative work itself—including my decks, guidebooks, writing, worldbuilding, website description, and creative voice etc—is created entirely by me.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

The creative heart, soul and magic of Fables Den is all by & from Yours Truly. I do not replace my creative process with AI. As someone who deeply values the creative journey and believes in the magic of self-expression, I view creativity as more than a means to produce an end result or product.

Creativity to me is sacred. It is both emotionally intimate and spiritually transformative. A part of me is imbued in everything I create and make. It is a life-long journey and adventure that I embark on and there’s nothing more important to me than actually experiencing the journey and process of creativity in and of itself.

Following my heart, my creative vision and what yearns to be expressed in my body is what makes building a creative online business magical.

For this reason, I do not use AI to replace the aspects of my work that are rooted in personal creativity, artistic expression, storytelling, spiritual exploration or original thought. Using AI to replace the creative journey erases the meaning of being a creative person and living a creative life. To create something is to journey within, to witness the parts of ourselves that are calling to be seen, to shape them and make them into something that’s meaningful: a tarot deck populated by pandas, words of power and love I’ve written during my Dark Night of the Soul, a blog post detailing the explorative approaches that I’ve taken to level up my online business, or anything in between, under, above, around or beyond (you get the point 😂)

  • The artwork, designs, and creative contributions found within my tarot and oracle decks, including work created by myself and any human collaborators!

  • Any written literature like affirmations, poetry, creative prose, card meanings & interpretations, journal prompts and reflective exercises etc

  • Original ideas, characters, tarot spreads, systems & frameworks etc

  • Educational materials, learning resources, tutorials, practical guides, courses and informational content designed to teach, inspire, or support growth

  • Website presentation and user experience elements, including product descriptions, page titles, headers, navigation menus, most of the decorative graphics, and other supporting content intended to help visitors explore, understand, and engage with the website

  • Social media content and creative communications, including Instagram posts, carousels, captions, affirmations, poetry, reflections, educational content, and other creative works shared through my online platforms

  • My personal voice, communication style, sense of humor, perspectives, lived experiences, creative insights, and the unique way I choose to express and share ideas

  • Also, if you see me in a video, photo, livestream, or other piece of content, it is genuinely me. I do not use AI-generated avatars, face swaps, voice cloning, or other AI tools to alter my appearance, identity, or presence. (I might throw a bunny ear filter on, but other than that 😂🐰)

Fables Den uses AI as a supportive tool rather than a creative replacement.

AI may assist with operational, administrative, organizational, and technical aspects of running the business, including:

Business Operations

  • Troubleshooting technical, operational, and workflow-related issues, including website functionality, software tools, online platforms, integrations, and business processes.

  • SEO research, keyword suggestions, metadata creation, search optimization, and the drafting or refinement of SEO-focused titles, descriptions, and website copy intended to improve discoverability

  • Website, policy, and informational content organization (e.g. disclosures, legal pages, and business policies to help ensure important details are not overlooked)

  • Researching platform features, algorithms, discoverability, and content distribution systems

  • Technical troubleshooting, software research, and platform comparisons (e.g. “HOW DO I EXORCISE THIS BOX IN EXCEL!? WHY IS IT MOVING LIKE THAT”)

  • Educational research related to entrepreneurship, online business, publishing, fulfillment, and digital commerce (I’m always learning, honing my skills, doing professional development and leveling up! Awww yeh)

Financial & Administrative Tasks

  • Bookkeeping assistance, accounting support

  • Tax-related organization, expense categorization and recordkeeping support

  • Research into business regulations, tariffs 🤮, fees, and compliance considerations

  • Software, service, and operational tool comparisons

Creative Research & Development Support

  • Researching topics, references, and background information

  • Finding specific words, phrases, definitions or terminology

  • Clarifying concepts, reviewing information for accuracy, and identifying potential misunderstandings when researching established fields of knowledge, academic disciplines, therapeutic approaches, historical information, or other external sources

  • Proofreading for spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting errors or apocalyptic typos that trigger my perfectionism - I mean uh, compromise the quality of my creative works.

  • Reviewing graphic designs for visual clarity, readability, layout balance, alignment, text hierarchy, accessibility and color harmony. (e.g. mid-afternoon panics of “IS THIS CENTRED!? HELP")

All AI-assisted work is reviewed, edited, approved, and ultimately guided by human judgment before publication or implementation.

In short, I use AI as a beefed up dictionary, thesaurus, encloypedia, research assistant, sounding board and an editor.

AI-Generated Visual Assets & Design Tools

  • Many modern creative and business platforms—including Canva, website builders, stock asset libraries, and design software—now incorporate AI features and AI-generated assets into their standard offerings. As a result, some templates, graphics, or other visual assets I use may contain AI-generated components that are not explicitly identified as such by the platform.

  • On occasion, I use AI-assisted design tools within these platforms to alter or transform visual elements to better suit the Fables Den aesthetic and brand identity—for example, using Canva's AI tools to transform a 2D panda into a plushie-style graphic.

  • I also occasionally use built-in AI features in video-editing software for practical tasks, such as automatically removing silences or otherwise making the editing process less tedious and more efficient.

These uses are generally decorative or supportive rather than substitutes for the core creative work, teachings, products, or intellectual property of Fables Den.

When AI-generated visuals play a substantial role in a piece of work, I will disclose their use where relevant. However, I may occasionally use small decorative or supporting AI-generated elements—such as backgrounds, textures, or graphics—without individually labeling them in every post. This page serves as my general disclosure of how I use AI throughout Fables Den.
