THE WITCHY PANDA

Powered by Crystals, Incense, Candles & Bundles of Sage

LIGHT THEMES

SPELLS & MAGICK. Now may be a good time to connect with your craft & practice, and to call upon your witchy power and channel the forces of nature to manifest the outcomes that you desire. You can cast spells, burn some sage, work with herbs, chant, or connect with your patron god / goddess or spirits. Check the rhythm of the moon and other relevant calendar to see if an upcoming natural occurrence or natural alignment will be a good day to work some magick!

ENERGY WORK & HEALING. You don’t need to be a witch to be “witchy”. In essence, this card is also representative of energy work & healing practices that you are part of or are interested in looking into. You can take some time to set intentions, meditate, do energy scans around your body or cleanse a space with your favourite music - any kind of energy work that are aligned with your worldview and your personal needs. You can still channel energy or "work your magic” without the typical witchy items or procedures. As long as you hold space for your intentions and as long as they are aligned with the highest good, you will be a conduit of the “unseen”.

RITUAL & CONNECTION. Be it a formal ritual filled with tradition and history, or a spontaneous ritual imbued with intention - this card encourages you to follow (or create!) a series of meaningful actions and steps to achieve what you want. For example, you can ritualistically punch a pillow to symbolize you confronting and smashing through your fears - using this action as a way to release negativity from your being. You can also devise or follow an elaborate ritual, carving out space and time to set up your environment to cast preconstructed spells. Either way, think about how you can symbolically represent your intentions, your emotions, your problems and your goals and manifest them as ritualistic actions to help you heal and achieve what you want.

SPIRITUAL BLING. This card may be telling you to utilize your “spiritual bling” and magical tools to aid you in healing, shielding, protecting and manifesting. For examples, crystals, bracelets with protective symbols or portraits of your patron god/goddess - these objects can be bonded with your intention and help you focus your power to align yourself to your highest good + manifest your reality.

SHADOW THEMES

ARE YOU A WITCH, OR ARE YOU YOUR WITCHY THINGS? I personally believe that, for the most part, we are the true conduit of power and our intentions are the real sources of magic. Crystals and incense may carry natural properties that can be of different use, but we are, at the end of the day, the true master of any power. If this card comes up reversed or you are guided to look into the shadow aspects of this card - consider how you may be giving too much power away or if you’re blindly placing certain thing/person/concept on a pedestal without questioning its true nature. Nothing that is outside of you should serve as the root of your power. Your intention, your integrity, and your understanding / personal alignment are more important than what symbols are on your bracelet.

SPIRITUAL BYPASSING. Sometimes, elaborate rituals, witchy practices or languages or items can be used as a way to avoid confronting the real issues in our lives. Just because you’re hugging a rose quartz wand to your chest every night doesn’t mean you are actively healing the wounds in your heart. Consider if you are using “witchy excuses” to avoid doing real shadow work or escape reality.
